Promptly on receipt of a valid notice — in practice within one business day, and immediately for clear commercial infringement.

What if my release was removed unfairly?

You can file a counter-notice with the same level of detail as the original complaint. We may restore the material after ten business days unless court action is notified.

Copyright Policy and DMCA

1. Our position

We respect intellectual property rights and expect submitters to do the same. Releases frequently include images, footage and third-party data, and responsibility for having the rights to that material sits with the submitter under our terms of service.

2. Filing a notice

Send a written notice to our designated agent: PressCosmos Media Network, DMCA Agent, 2261 Market Street, Suite 4800, San Francisco, CA 94114, US, or email support@presscosmos.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice". The notice must include:

Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
The exact URL of the allegedly infringing material
Your name, address, telephone number and email address
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner
Your physical or electronic signature

3. What we do next

We remove or disable access to the identified material promptly, notify the submitter, and forward a copy of the notice to them. Removal does not erase the inbox record: notices are retained as evidence.

4. Counter-notice

If your release was removed and you believe the removal was wrong — for example because you hold a valid licence or the use is fair — you may send a counter-notice with the same level of detail and consent to the jurisdiction of a competent court. We may restore the material after ten business days unless the original complainant notifies us of a filed action.

5. Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive repeated substantiated notices are suspended, and persistent offenders are terminated. We do not accept a submission from a suspended account under a different name.

6. Syndicated copies

Releases are distributed to independent outlets. If your content is removed here but appears elsewhere, that outlet is a separate organisation and the request must be made to it. We will provide you with the delivery list for the release in question so you know where to look.
